So what am I all about ?
Speaking…..Simple Clear Communication…..
Having the lucky accident of being born middle child in a large family, ensured I learnt to announce my needs in loud, clear, quick way in order to be heard. This developed into a role of family entertainer, adventurer, speaker and seeker of new things…
Traveling and working in America, Canada, Asia, Australia, Malaysia and Europe, learning and speaking Irish, English, Spanish, French and a little Italian, further refined this understanding, of the importance of speaking clearly and concisely, and equally the need to know and understand people and context.
This led to a degree in learning about people and communication, through an undergrad in Psychology, a learning of linguistics and cognition, and eventually a translation of this into a career in advertising. Moving on from this, I used my skills in a closer application, teaching and training those who had difficulty communicating themselves, and those who worked with these children. Using my voice to record messages for assistive technology communication devices for those with no voices, led to recording of training videos and other computer devices and eventually a desire to use my voice for a larger market of industry and commerce.
And it is here, that I have found my niche. A career that uses the combination of all my skills, my love of acting and communicating, and a platform to deliver your message.
